Exactly one year out from Emma and Pat’s wedding seems like the perfect time to re-live their engagement session. They decided to have their engagement photo’s done at their wedding venue, Birds Eye Cove Farm. Emma and Pat are such a calm and fun couple. Based on the plans they’ve already shared with me about their wedding, it sounds like it will very much be following that trend.
Birds Eye Cove is a gorgeous venue tucked between mountains in Duncan, BC. Cow’s walk up to the fence to say hello and the orchards are perfect for photographs. They also have a resident Vietnamese pig, and chickens! So many fun little photo spaces to really spice up your wedding or session!
By far, my favourite thing at the farm, was the cows. They are Highland cattle, like you would find in Scotland. Emma LOVES Scotland so the cows were a huge draw for her! They were so curious about what the heck we were doing, following us up and down the fence. One even let one rip during one of the photographs, making us all laugh our butts off! I’d like to say that I was the funniest one at the session, but that one cow definitely takes the cake for making the most laughs!
