As I was passing through Hope, BC, I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Trevor.

4 years ago, Amanda moved to Hope from Toronto for a fresh start. Trevor, on the other hand, had lived in Hope, BC his entire life! One day, while taking her kids to school, she noticed Trevor, who has a child the same age as hers. What started out as just saying “hi” turned into his chasing her down in the school hallways to talk to her. Both being shy, it took a while for anything to come out of it, but eventually Amanda said “Are you going to keep chasing me, or do you want my number?”. He scrambled for his phone, and they’ve been inseparable ever since! Her move was truly meant to be!

Another fun story, they actually both proposed to each other at the same time! So while the two are planning to get married August 2021, you can spot them both sporting rings. How cute is that?
