Hailey and Joe dressed up and got some elopement style photographs at Lake Minnewanka. The mountains are stunning and feature purple/blue colouring during sunset. You can’t go wrong in the Canadian rocky mountains, but there is something special about the sun reflecting off of the snow covered caps.
Photos like these are easy for us to accomplish together! Whether you got married last year, or had to cancel due to COVID, it’s never a bad time to put on your wedding attire and run around in the mountains. Reach out today to get a quote for your Lake Minnewanka portrait session. The only thing better than a mountain session is a helicopter mountain session!
A few things to keep in mind for your mountain session are tourists, sunset and weather! The rocky mountains can be busy and crowded with tourists, be sure to hire a photographer who is aware of peak seasons and time of day. Sunset is much earlier in the mountains, so be sure to plan accordingly. Lastly, bring layers and hand warmers to combat the freezing cold winter weather. Hailey wore a gorgeous fur coat to keep her warm between shots.
