Alix and Laurenz are world travellers who found themselves in Tofino, BC when COVID hit. The two met in on the paradise island of Bali, Indonesia. At the time, Alix had lived in Scotland and Laurenz had lived in Australia. After both of them finished their trip to Bali, Laurenz chose to move to move to Scotland to be with her, how sweet! They then travelled New Zealand together in a camper van, and eventually ended up engaged and in Tofino.

Unfortunately, the two had to cancel their wedding in Belgium, due to the virus. I knew I wanted to provide them with some photographs of their trip to the island, so we hit the beach early in the morning to catch some waves. Unfortunately, the surf wasn’t great, but we still got some amazing snuggly shots, and some featuring their wetsuits and surf board in true Tofino fashion. Have you tried to surf before?
