Calgary Winter Couples Photo Session

Ever thought about having photos done in the winter? The weather was SO cold, like -14 degrees cold, but these two stuck it out for some amazing photographs. It’s easy to combat freezing weather when you have a knowldgeable photographer! Some things that I always recommend are hand warmers, layers to easily throw on in between shots and lots of energy! I have the ability to move very quickly between poses to ensure that you get the shots that you want, without having you freeze to death!

I met Jill last fall before the Golden workshop; you may have seen her in a past blog post, she is an amazing artist with a beautiful soul. I was absolutely stoked to meet Dan and capture a few snapshots of their love. Their story is unique and filled with triumph. Dan was diagnosed with cancer, and Jill found her love of art while spending lots of long days in the hospital with him. They have certainly come out of it all stronger!
