Planning a wedding can be both exciting and overwhelming, but at Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria, BC, they make it simple and unforgettable. I’ve worked with the event staff at the Inn to put together all of the information you may need to know when thinking about having your wedding in their gorgeous space. Their stunning venue offers three distinct packages to cater to your unique wedding vision, ensuring that your special day is perfect, no matter the size of your celebration.
The Event Team
Meet Seana and Lesley, the amazing Event Planners at Inn at Laurel Point. They’re dedicated to making your planning journey smooth and stress-free. They handle all the in-house communication and scheduling with the hotel’s various departments. From your menu tasting day to your breakfast in bed the day after your wedding, Seana and Lesley ensure everything runs perfectly. A fun fact about these two: even if you mainly talk to just one of them, they’re both fully involved in all the details of your big day. They’re so in sync that when I met them, they were accidentally wearing matching outfits!

Pro Planning Tip from Seana and Lesley: “Making all the decisions for your wedding can be tricky! Many people get stuck when picking their menu, and we don’t blame them! We are very flexible and accommodating, whether it’s changing sides, making meals accessible for all dietary needs, or offering a variety of everyone’s favorites. Spend some time thinking about what you want your menu to look like before your tasting day. Then you have a plan to fall back on when it’s time to decide. Remember, there is no ‘right answer.’ We’re here to make sure you get to enjoy your favorite foods and help cater to your guests’ tastes too.”

Pro Planning Tip from Seana and Lesley: “We want to make your planning experience as stress-free as possible. To ensure everything flows smoothly, we suggest booking around 12 months in advance, but no later than 6 months before your desired date. This helps you secure the vendors you love and gives us enough time to coordinate your menu tastings, allowing you plenty of time to make decisions.”
