Danielle and Drew’s wedding began with getting ready shots in the gorgeous Laurel Point hotel rooms. They had great natural lighting and balconies for photos with the bridal parties and mother of the bride.

Then, the groom was surprised with a special first look. The surprise? Instead of seeing his lovely bride, he saw his best man in a wedding gown! Hilarious! Everyone had a good laugh before heading down to get ready for the ceremony.

The couple decided to read private vows before the ceremony. They used the doors in the hall at Laurel Point to hide Danielles dress. This was to preserve the real first look for when she walked down the aisle. This is perfect for any couples who are a little nervous about reading vows in front of an audience. Or maybe you just want to save some personal lines just for the two of you.

We then used the gorgeous grounds to take some bride and groom portraits. The water fountain was such a stunning spot to stop and get some more intimate shots.

Lastly, their reception space offers lots of natural lighting with the full windows that allows the evening light in. You’ll notice that during the speeches, we like to hop into the seats that are empty with a bridal party member is speaking.
