We provide non-judgmental and compassionate harm reduction supports, services, education, and development to individuals through community collaboration and festival and event initiatives. WILD operates within an anti-oppressive framework that seeks to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive services to events and communities.”
WILD provides Collaborative Harm Reduction Services- a crucial service to have present at large events and festivals to keep attendee’s safe and informed. They educate people on harm reduction education, sexual health education, drug use and drug combination information, naloxone training and more. Kaitlyn and her employee’s strive to create a safer society where education has the power to save lives.
WILD offers services such as:
-Collaborative conversations and partners- working closely with local agencies (non-profits, emergency departments, psychiatric&addiction services, harm reduction agencies), law enforcement (police, RCMP), event organizers, and peers
-Presentations and Community Engagement – Options for community presentations, engagement, and trainings in a variety of harm reduction topics, recruitment, and THN training
-Supports and Services- harm reduction supplies and education, sexual health supplies and education, other health promotion literature, rehydration supplies and basic event needs, re-connections and information, peer-to-peer outreach, safe-place/sanctuary, drug use and drug combination information and support, onsite mental health, drug/addiction, and incident assessments, Drug Checking (*), Intensive Incident assessment and support, Support around violent incidence and/or harassment, Naloxone training and take home kits
